ladies n gentlemen. today i am goin to talk about the subject of absolute importance. it is sacred as it involves the life and death of many people in this world. ( at least here..>_<). it is a move that will influence the outcome of singapore's growth, but it might harm its citizens as well. so i will take my stand that a casino in SG is not good! but VERY good.

first, im goin to tok about the disadvantages of having a casino. gambling is illegal in singapore, and a casino simply makes it legal. it makes gambling more professional.....as well...as.....stylish. it makes it less dirty and unorganised. it is civilised gambling...., the disadvantage is that now gamblers can gamble in broad day light.
since gambling can ruin the lifes of many. the main disadvantage of having a casino is that many people will gamble their property, money, family and life away.

when something is lost, something is gained, somewhere else. it might not be the same target of the property change. so when a gambler loses money, the casino benfits as it absorbs the money lost by the lousy gambler. thus, it can provide more jobs for people. for example, to be the dummy man incharge of giving out cards. or the repair man of the jackpot machines.......there are countless possibilities.there will be many business ventures and many will benefit from the creation of the casino based industry..i am not very certain about how a casino works, but im sure it is surely not created to lose money. but to leech money from the gamblers. whether small or big, money is still earned. a casino can also attract greedy tourist from lots and lots of countries nearby to gamble......and thus creating a source of revenuue for the country in other aspects such as tourist. SIA benefits too.

why can the disadvantage be overlooked.? in my opinion, if theres no casino. gamblers will find some other way to ruin themselves. they will resort to underground gambling. excessive bettin on trivial matters among friends. these roots of darkness within them will not root deeper into them if there was a casino as it is probably at a terminal value..., these people who have the urge to gamble are borned losers and are fated to ruin their lfies. there isn't room to discuss whether the existance of a casino will make matters worst

in conclusion, if a casino can be build to save thousands of people who wan to work, but have no work. provide jobs for the needy....., why hesistate for a group of people who will ruin themselves eventually one day. everything is fate. thank you.
