finally dex posted some post dedicated to dota. well here's my take. actualli im about to post something about dota someday, but i didn't expect it to be that soon.

though i did not play much dota during the 1 week holidays, i tot of mani things and analyzed several games that led me to various conclusions about the game.

first, in order to pwn like mad, rampage into godlike and farm like a saint, all at once, you will need something identical to err "continous luck". like for example. enemy is noob, you pwn him twice. you secure a good starting. then u run into the middle lane, you meet several low health hero, then you pwn them. ( if not with the help of alies but YOU got the kill ). then without retreatin (or even with), you push the tower and got the gold. u r now filthy rich and goes home to get some shiny n beautiful items. though, that may be only one 2000 gold item, but that will give you an edge that will help you to continue to pwn. if this cycle repeats, you will find yourself godlike, holy shit, and even bein the richest in the game..

that was maybe an exaggeration, but thigns lik dis do happen. (esp to glenn..)

this is the only scenario i can picture in order to balance farming and killing.

otherwise, if you play like ben. all you could do is to sit and wait for kills to come to you, and farm like crazy.

the solo and middle lane is just like singles and doubles in badminton. last time i did say b4. it's about how to lure your opponent into their weakness and finish them off. with both creeps continously clashin, and heros not bein able to go close to avoid damage. it's almost like a stalemate. when lookin at hero matchups, (and your enemy hero at your lane), i think one can already visualise a situation (at which level and such) that will enable you to kill him or her. if there are soo many situations, there is a higher chance and your job is to force that chance out and go for the kill. even if people just look lik they are farmin and do not wan to bother about kill you, they MAY be plottin a viscious plan and waitin for you to fall into it..

knowin a hero is to know his skills, and how to use them
understandin a hero is to know his strenghts and weakness
masterin a hero is knowin how to pwn enemies and own the game regardless of situation.

i was teachin my brother how to play dota. with abit of guidance, he manage to 6-3 with lich. don't laugh, it's quite gd already. he doesn't play standard game. and err. he doesn't even know you can sit by the creeps to gain exp....well i was teachin him all these...haha.

lol. anyway gx thinks his very pro. i beg to differ. by sayin " i hink im on par with glenn ". he is indirectly insulting me, wr, dex, tj. and mainly every1 else. if you wanna start, start at the BOTTOM of the ladder and don't try to be to hasty. (though haste rune is nice..^_^)

oh yah, that viper game which i pwned your arse badly (to gx), was a present to show how disatisfied i am with your cocky attitude.

LOL. no offense but. you r still mada mada dane. continue playin like this and you will not be able to beat any of us...

another thing i got enlightened. right now, OUR dota is not about technical skills, it's about our mental state and such.

seriously, if you agree that technically all of our micro (with the exception of glenn), and all these r lik around the same, and other techniques in dota........the way we play is decided by the decisions we make, and the decisions we make are due to two factors. experience, and our mental state. so puttin aside experience. mainly we are playin a mental game right now....
